Anyone planning on attending the ANUPI Conference next month?

Im curious about going, but since Im presenting at Melissa's conference in late September, Ill have to take a pass. They only let me out of jail so many days! :D

Yes, I'll be there. I've been at past conferences and they are definitely worthwhile.

Great Dixie! I´m presenting on Thursday - workshop on designing performance tasks - but perhaps we'll run into each other. It's always cool to run into people that you've been "virtually" corresponding with prior.

I wanted to go, as I've been wanting to go to Zihua for quite some time. But other family concerns have thrown us into money saving mode, so I have to pass. But I'll be pinching my pesos to make it to MEXTESOL 2010 in Cancun!

As I look over the program for this year's ANUPI conference, common topics emerge: culture, learning competencies, and communicative _____ (you fill in the blank). Other topics include a focus on skills, technology, and professional development. I also can't help but notice out of the 86 speakers scheduled to talk over the next three days, only four are members of META: Alejandro Martínez, Dixie Santana, Linda Quendoz, and me. Apologies in advance if I overlooked someone.

Well, I look forward to getting started and sharing my experiences with those in META and beyond.
