TKT Prep Course: Diplomado, Instituto Angloamericano, Morelia

There is now a special TKT preparation course being offered on Fridays, 4-8PM, at Instituto Angloamericano in Morelia, Michoacan.

The course is every Friday, starting Sept 7 for 15 weeks. This special course is registered with SEE's Departamento Profesiones as Diplomado, "Curso de Preparación para el Teaching Knowledge Test"

Instituto Angloamericano is currently the only school where you may receive a diplomado for the TKT preparation course, certified by the Departamento de Profesiones.

New courses begin in January, so you might want to call the Institute now to register and reserve your spot. The current class is full, so please act soon!

The course is being taught by Instituto Angloamericano's Ellen Graber Lichtman, past president of MEXTESOL, and participant in Cambridge TKT training for teacher trainers of TKT. Ellen has also taught at several schools in Morelia and hold a Masters in Education.

Tonight is the long-awaited TKT graduation ceremony for TKT Prep students at Instituto Angloamericano in Morelia. Congratulations!!!

These teachers are a marvelous group of outstanding educators and people. Ellen and I had a terrific and rewarding experience.

The next 2 TKT Prep courses will start on:

- Fridays 4-8PM, January 18 (18 sessions)
- Saturdays 10-2PM, January 19 (18 sessions)

Course credit is 140 hours, with in-class instructional time of 72 hours (or 18 sessions of 4 hours each).

Please stop by the Institute to register as soon as possible to ensure space in either class schedule.

On April 11, 2008, several graduates of the Angloamericano TKT Preparation Course sat for the Cambridge TKT exam, modules 1-3. Still waiting for scores!
