I love this technique of sharing called "leading out loud". Although
this particular example is within the business sector, imagine how great it would work within the educational system. Administrators, curricularists, teacher leaders, etc. all sharing ideas to current problems in an open and collaborative way. I can already see the initial reaction of some who might think it strange to present questions and thoughts to others without presenting a solution that is expected to be implemented in a top-down fashion. But I think this is an effective way to bring about a community of practice that values the opinions of each of its members. By empowering others to take on leadership roles, the community takes on a more self-sustaining drive to become better.
